There were several variations of this famous Bechstein upright, which was designed in the Arts & Crafts style by the English Architect Walter Cave.  These were mostly different designs of the front board and using different wood veneers.  They all however have the distinctive candle holders rising from the leg supports like a pair of 1960’s flared trousers!  We were fortunate to have one of the nicest examples I have seen in our Auction Sale of the 27th June 2019, which had been restored and had a beautiful matching stool.
