An upright piano in a modern style bright mahogany case; together with a stool.
Condition Report:
LOT 5 – BLÜTHNER UPRIGHT
Amendment: The Serial Number is 140885, which makes it c1971.
Casework: The case is in acceptable condition but there are quite a number of small impact marks, scratches and bits of damage.
Frame, Pins, Strings, Soundboard and Bridges: Are good, although I draw your attention to a small crack by the top treble tuning pins in the frame - this is having no bearing whatsoever on the piano’s sound or indeed tuning but should be noted.
Hammers and Action: The action is good, if a little dusty.
Keys and Keyboard: Is plastic and is in good condition.

Additional Information
All instrument fitted with ivory keys dating pre 1975 will be registered with DEFRA & APHA under the new ivory act 2018. All pianos dating from 1947 – 1975 with ivory keys will have an Article 10 certificate in place before it is sold.
