Hammerspinet

Which is a cross between a tiny grand piano and a harpsichord!  With a single string per note and only 4ft long this wonderful bit of Danish design converts from a delicate piano sound to a harpsichord sound.  It is a rare instrument, only about four hundred were made in the 1960’s and 1970’s by Steen Neilsen.  The piano is in a beautiful rosewood with a stylish matching stool.  Sold in our auction sale of the 20th September 2018.
