Style And Elegance

France is synonymous with the idea of good style and elegance particularly when it comes to furniture and the arts.  In the early part of the 20th century the piano company Erard, produced a limited number of graceful grands for their discerning clients.  Known as ‘Art Cased’ we were proud to be offering a good example in our 12th April 2018 auction sale.

Lot 50 Erard (c1910) A 7ft grand piano in a walnut parquetry case decorated with foliate panels, raised on dual-square tapered legs united by shaped stretchers.
