Howard Jones - Steinway Model D

For those of us at Piano Auctions who remember the 1980s with fondness, electro synth pop provides a suitably poignant sound track.

Taking his place in the panoply of innovative musicians who sidestepped the vulgar and noisome electric guitar, opting instead for the subtle sophistication of synthesised sounds, Howard Jones remains an important and inspirational figure. Enjoying enormous success both at home and in the all important American market, Howard scored hit after hit between 1983 and 1992 while at the same time producing, writing and performing with varied and interesting collaborators. This work continues to the present day.
