Important Notice To Buyers - July 2020

Due to the current Covid 19 situation we have had to change our sale dates, venue and procedures (please see below.) Please note that all viewing will comply with current NHS England guidelines and social distancing will be strictly enforced. We will have a supply of PPE for our clients in the form of face masks, latex gloves and hand sanitiser. All keyboards will be cleaned on a regular basis.

VIEWING

Viewing for this auction is strictly by appointment only. We will have three viewing days as follows ;

Saturday 26th September 9am-5pm, Sunday 27th September 9am-5pm, Monday 28th September 9am-5pm.

Please note that there will be no viewing on auction day.

For people who cannot come to the viewing, we are happy to supply full condition reports, extra photographs and video clips on request. Our piano specialists will also be happy to discuss any of the pianos in this auction with you, over the telephone.

BIDDING AT AUCTION

This auction will be held online and in real time at 12 noon on 29th September 2020.

Bidding online: you can bid online by registering with one of the following;

www.the-saleroom.com (an extra charge of 4.95% + VAT applies.)

www.easyliveauction.com (a £3 registration fee applies.)

Telephone Bidding: You can book a telephone line with us to bid over the phone. Lines are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. All telephone bids must be booked with the auctioneer by 11am on the morning of the auction.

Commission Bidding: You may leave a written bid. The auctioneer will then bid incrementally on your behalf during the sale up to the maximum amount you have chosen. If the final bid is less than your maximum bid, you will only have to pay this lower price.

PAYMENT

For this auction the method of payment will be Bank Transfer. All lots must be paid for in full by 4pm on Friday 2nd October 2020. Please note all bids will be subject to a 20% Buyer’s Premium plus VAT.

COLLECTION & STORAGE

All lots must be collected by 4pm on Friday 2nd October 2020. If you are using another carrier other than G&R Piano Removals, they will need to arrange a collection time and date directly with G&R Piano Removals. Pianos not collected by this time will incur a storage charge. Please note lots can not be released to the buyer until payment has been received.
